(1) Describe the modeling activities of your group (what meteorological, chemical transport and/or radiative transfer models are you using)

We developed a regional-scale chemistry, size, mixing-type and soot shape resolved model (EMTACS; Kajino and Kondo, 2011), off-line coupled with WRF. In the model, we implemented a modal-moment aerosol dynamics model (MADMS; Kajino, 2011) and achieved completely dynamical (non-equilibrium) solution of a gas-to-particle mass transfer over a wide range of aerosol diameters from 1nm to super mm. MADMS is unique which can solve inter-modal coagulation between two modes with very different log-normal size parameters and different fractal dimensions of agglomerates.@
